reference standards ...

We reference the global standard ISO 20700:2017
which provides guidelines for the effective delivery
of management consultancy services across a broad
range of organizations.

Several national and internationally-recognized process
standards are also typically referenced in the development
of various projects.

In developing specific guidelines tailored to the end user, we often integrate relevant global normative documents from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations through the Codex Alimentarius Commission and the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and national standards through the Standards Council of Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and other recognized competent authorities and standards development organizations.

For some projects we also reference voluntary guides developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) including:

ISO 9001. Quality management;
ISO 22006:2009. Quality management systems - Guidelines for the application of ISO 9001:2008 to crop production;
ISO 22000:2018. Food safety management systems - Requirements for any organization in the food chain;
ISO/IEC Guide 67:2004. Conformity assessment - Fundamentals of product certification; and
ISO/IEC Guide 28:2004. Conformity assessment - Guidance on third-party certification system for products.
